Funeral services celebrating the life of Charles Patrick "Pat" Walker, 88, of Newark, will be held at REED-EGAN FUNERAL HOME, 141 Green Wave Drive, Newark, 1 P.M., Tuesday, January 24, 2023, with Deacon Patrick Wilson as celebrant. Friends and family may call at the funeral home from 11:30- 1 P.M . , prior to the funeral service. Inurnment in St. Joseph Cemetery will follow services.

Pat died at Licking Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, January 17, 2023. He was born in Columbus, Ohio on March 17, 1934, to the late John R. and Blanche (Golley) Walker.

A parishioner of the Church of the Blessed Sacrament, Pat was retired from Holophane where he worked for many years. He was an avid golfer, and loved to eat and visit with everyone at Tee Jaye's Restaurant, affectionately known as "Uncle Pat".

He will be greatly missed by his wife, Charlotte (Medley) Walker; children, Charles Walker Jr., Roxanne (John) Holland, Mike Walker, Thomas (Barbara) Walker; 8 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sister, Florence (Paul "Luke") Medley; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Walker; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Pat was preceded by his son, Jeff Walker; infant brother, James; brothers, Paul and John Walker; sisters, Blanche Reynard and Carolina (Walter) Glasmeier; and nephews, David and Terry Walker.
