Funeral services for C. G. Mike Henry, 94, of Newark, will be held at the REED-EGAN FUNERAL HOME, 141 Green Wave Drive, Newark, 11:00 A.M., Monday, December 14, 2015 with Pastor James Young as celebrant. Friends and family may call from 9-11 A.M., prior to the funeral service. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery with military honors provided by the Licking County Veterans Alliance.

Mike, a United States Army WWII Veteran, died at the Heath Nursing and Rehabilitation Center on Friday, December 11, 2015. He was born in Newark on May 22, 1921 to the late George and Goldie (Donnett) Henry.

He retired from Rockwell where he worked for 30 years and also ran their food pantry. He was a member of Local 1037, the Newark Eagles, VFW, and former member of the Druids.

Mike is survived by his daughters, Maryanne (Robert) Burns and Joanne (Richard) Anderson; 6 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth (Sagona) Henry; and his brothers, Halleck, Charles, Warren, Wilson, Jesse, Amon, John, and Joe.
