Kitty passed away at Genesis Hospital, Zanesville, on Friday, November 14, 2025. She was born in Somerset, Ohio on February 16, 1943, to the late Albert and Margaret (Snider) Hammer.

She loved to travel and described going to Italy as her "best trip."

In addition to her parents, Kitty was preceded in death by her infant son, Scott; daughter-in-law, Barbara Blosser; brothers, James and Thomas Hammer; sisters, Rosemary (Howard "Steve") Fetty and Ruth (Harvey) Prichard.
