A Funeral Mass celebrating the life of Catherine Ann Schell, 64, of Heath, will be held at St. Leonard Catholic Church, 10:30 AM, Thursday June 10, 2021, with Fr. Bill Hritsko as celebrant.

She was born on March 7, 1957  in Newark, OH, to the late Joseph Eugene Gilligan and Nina Jean (Smith) Gilligan.

Cathy was a loving mother and wife, loyal friend, and proud grandma to her 9 grandchildren. She enjoyed watching her grandchildren grow, camping with her husband and friends, gardening, and spending time with those she loved.

Cathy will be greatly missed by her husband Michael Schell; children, Ryan Williams of New Albany, OH, Megan (Jay) Amstutz of Upper Arlington, OH; step-children, Jayme (Aaron) Wilson of Glenford, OH, Ellen (Mike) Helser of Thornville, OH; Siblings, Jim (Judy) Gilligan, Steve (Lori) Gilligan all of Newark, Doug (Robin) Gilligan of Charleston, SC, and Mark (Debbie) Gilligan of Newark; and grandchildren, Everly and Lucy Amstutz; Hudson, Deacon, Max, Charlee, Luka, and Sloane Wilson; and Aspen Helser; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Cathy was preceded in death by her parents and sister Connie Radabaugh.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Central Ohio or Alzheimer's Association.
