Calling hours celebrating the life of Carol Rosella (Myers) Norberg Brooks, 63, of Newark, will be held from 6-8 P.M., Friday, December 30, 2016, at the REED-EGAN FUNERAL HOME, 141 Green Wave Drive, Newark.


Carol passed away at Licking Memorial Hospital on Thursday, December 22, 2016. She was born in Newark, Ohio on October 15, 1953 to the late Richard Myers and Ella Jean (Everspaugh) Myers Sr. Following her death, Carol became a tissue donor which will continue to help others through Lifeline of Ohio.


She is survived by her daughter, Shannon (Auck) Harvey; her granddaughters whom she adored, Amber Renee, Alexis Rosella, and Aubree Rain Harvey; great-grandson, Tobias James "Toby"; her brother, Richard Myer Jr., her sister, Vicky Kieber; and several nieces and nephews.
