A Mass of Christian Burial for Brenda Goodrich, 70, of Newark, will be held at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 12:15 P.M., Thursday, October 19, 2023, with Fr. Dave Sizemore as celebrant. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Granville.

Brenda, a lifetime parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, died at Arlington Care Center, surrounded by the love of her family, on Saturday, October 14, 2023. She was born in Newark Ohio on January 14, 1953, to the late James R. and Dolores (Shea) Goodrich.

A 1972 graduate of Newark High School, Brenda worked in housekeeping at several local nursing facilities. She was an avid animal lover and held a great enthusiasm for Cedar Point, making countless visits over the years.

Survivors include her brothers, James (Janice) Goodrich Jr. and Robert (Dianne) Goodrich; several nieces and nephews, and her beloved canine companion, Brandy

In addition to her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by her brother, Jeffrey D. Goodrich.
