Funeral Services for Betty J. Pimm, 77, of Heath, will be held at the REED-EGAN FUNERAL HOME, 141 Green Wave Drive, Newark, 7:00 P.M., Thursday, May 26, 2016 with Pastor Jeff Belt as celebrant. Friends and family may call at the funeral home from 4-7 P.M., prior to the funeral service.

Betty, a parishioner of Heath United Methodist Church, died at her home on Monday, May 23, 2016. She was born in Newark, Ohio on January 21, 1939 to the late Ira W. and Faye (Houdeshell) Pimm.

Betty recently moved back to the area after spending 37 years in Sugarland, Texas. As an artist, Betty quickly became involved in the local art scene and was very excited about the friendships made with other artists, and was preparing for her own gallery showing. She also was an RN and worked in the field of nursing for many years.

She is survived by her children, Lorretta (Jeff) Frenton of Newark, Christine (Andy) Crabb of Sugarland, Texas, Robert Arthur "Rob" (Melissa) Jones Jr. of Newark, Stephanie (Tim) Fackler of Millersport; and Ronda (Bob) Wears of Newark; 14 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; her sisters, Karen Burger of Granville, and Judy Metelko of Lewiston, Idaho; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her grandsons, Zachary Rowe and Christopher Draise; and her brother, Richard Pimm.
