Betty, a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, died at Embassy of Newark on Tuesday, April 9, 2024. She was born in Newark, Ohio on April 9, 1940, to the late Harry E. and Edith E. (Lamb) Posey.

A graduate of Newark High School, Betty worked as a flight attendant with American Airlines and was also employed with the Newark Advocate. For over 35 years Betty was also the owner and operator of O'Neill Hair Designers and was a consultant with Mary Kay Cosmetics, both giving her the opportunity to make many lasting friendships for which she was grateful.
