Graveside funeral services for Barbara Ann Bobczynski, 69, of Newark, will be held at Cedar Hill Cemetery, 1 P.m., Monday, April 28, 2025, with Chaplain Cory Campbell as celebrant.

Barbara passed away at the Selma Markowitz Care Center of Hospice of Central Ohio, on Saturday, April 5, 2025.

She was born in Columbus, Ohio on December 7, 1955, to the late Floyd and Theresa (Detrich) Hinkle.

Barbara had a love for horses and worked as a horse tamer in her youth. She enjoyed crafting, creating scrapbooks, and playing video games.

She is survived by her children, Jennifer Lynn Bassett, Steven Michael Bassett, and Sarah Louise Bassett; grandchildren, Miranda Rae Cossin, Shawn Matthew Holt, and Blake Bassett; great-grandchild, Avannah Grace; and brother, Joe Hinkle.

In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her brother, John Hinkle; and sister, Lori Hinkle.
