Funeral services celebrating the life of Alice Faye Pennybaker, 79, of Zanesville, will be held at the REED-EGAN FUNERAL HOME, 141 Green Wave Drive, Newark, 2 P.M., Wednesday, October 23, 2019, with Rev. JCP Sullivan, Parish Priest, as celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Newark. Friends and family may call at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.

Alice died at the Morrison House on Sunday, October 20, 2019. She was born in Newark, Ohio on September 14, 1940 to the late Frank and Stella (Stewart) Crawmer.

She was a parishioner of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, Zanesville, and enjoyed reading, crocheting, and cooking for her family and friends.

Alice is survived by her son, Tim (Ashley) Pennybaker; her granddaughter, Lindsey; brother, Ed (Glenda) Crawmer; sister, Carol (George) Cannon; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Tom (Kathy) Pennybaker and Margaret Pennybaker; special cousin, Bernice; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Alice was preceded in death by her husband, John Pennybaker in 1994; and brother-in-law, William Pennybaker.
