Graveside funeral services for Alberta H. Rauch, 99, of Newark, will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Newark, 1 P.M., Monday, February 13, 2017 with Deacon Patrick Wilson as celebrant.

Alberta died at her home surrounded by her family on Wednesday, February 8, 2017. She was born in Monroe County on June 22, 1917 to the late Alex and Christena (Burkhart) Weisend.

Alberta, a parishioner of the Church of the Blessed Sacrament, spent many years working with her husband on their family dairy and livestock farm. She is survived by her children, Eugene (Jane) Rauch, Richard Rauch, Anna (John) Huber, Michael (Pat) Rauch, and Susan (Tad) Kosch, and; 3 grandchildren, Jennifer, Nicole, and Hank; step-grandchildren; step-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Alberta was preceded in death by her husband, John T. Rauch; her daughter-in-law, Kay Rauch; and her siblings, Delbert (Libby), Lloyd, Icel (Jacob) Rauch, Edna, Arthur (Louisa), Helen (Bob) Lumbatis, Laura, Francis (Mary Agnes) and Anna (Steve) Lumbatis.
