A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating the beautiful life of Adah Grace Krokonko, 16-year-old daughter of Michael and Kelly (Greene) Krokonko, of Newark, will be held at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 12:00 Noon, Friday, July 15, 2022, with Fr. David Sizemore as celebrant.  Interment will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Newark. Adah, born in Westerville, Ohio on August 13, 2005, was an upcoming Junior at Licking Valley High School, and parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church.

Adah will be remembered for her love of family and friends, her beautiful smile, and her love of animals and pets. Adah had a passion and natural talent as an artist and creative writer which inspired her to pursue an English major upon graduating from high school with the hope of becoming an English teacher.

In addition to her parents, Adah will be greatly missed by her younger brother, Jacob; maternal grandparents, Karen (Greg) Litzinger and Gary (Patricia) Greene; paternal grandparents, Joseph (Linda) Krokonko; aunts and uncles, Kristy (Jeff) Miner, Kary (Peter) Perkovic, Joseph (Charlene) Krokonko, and Mark (Debragh) Krokonko; cousins, Benjamin, Emily, Anthony, Nicholas, Christian, Tyler, Hannah, Noah, Ryan, and Kelsey; and many classmates and dear friends.

Calling hours for Adah will be held at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 40 Granville Street, Newark, 3-8 P.M., Thursday, July 14, 2022.  The evening will conclude with a Vigil Service at 7:30 P.M.  For those attending calling, please park in the lot behind the church and enter through the back doors of the St. Francis Lamy Center. You will then proceed into the main body of church via the adjoining hallway.

The family requests that those attending calling hours and the funeral Mass wear light colors to represent Adah's bright and youthful spirit. Memorials in Adah's name can be made to a cause very dear to her, the Licking County Humane Society, 825 Thornwood Drive SW, Heath, Ohio 43056.
