WILLIAM “BILL” J. KESTERSON July 9, 1931 – September 25, 2009

Funeral services for William J. Kesterson, 78, of Newark, will be held at the Reed-Egan Funeral Home, 141 Green Wave Drive, Newark, 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 29, 2009, with Dean Cole officiating. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery with military honors provided by the Licking County Veterans Alliance.

Mr. Kesterson, a United States Army Veteran, died at the Flint Ridge Care Center on Friday, September 25, 2009. He was born in Parkersburg, W.V. on July 9, 1931 to the late Phillip and Kathryn (McMullen) Kesterson.

Bill was retired from Owens Corning where he worked as a supervisor of shipping for many years. He was also the owner and operator of the Shock Shop.

Bill is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, John and Susan Kesterson of San Jose, California; his daughters and son-in-law, Catherine “Vicki” Mansoor and Peter Huttinger of Cincinnati; Regina Lynn Kesterson-Fox of Newark; and Cynthia Malloy of Newark; eight grandchildren, Francis, William, Jennifer, Kassandra, Joseph, Michelle, Jack, and Jodi; his brothers and sister-in-law, Robert Kesterson of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and Richard and Kathy Kesterson of Newark; extended family, George “Bud” and Brandon Mechling of Newark; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia “Ginny” (Milanese) Kesterson; his brothers, William and James Kesterson; and his sister Frances Ball
