HONG IM LEE

Funeral services for Hong Im Lee, 64, of Granville, will be held at the Reed-Egan Funeral Home, 141 Green Wave Drive, Newark, 3:00 P.M. and 6:00 P.M., Thursday, July 9, 2009, with Reverend Hyun Jun Cho officiating.
Hong died at her home on Saturday, July 4, 2009. She was born in Seoul, Korea on October 14, 1944 to the late Duk Hyun and Sung Hi (Chang) Choi.
Hong was a graduate of Ewha Women’s University, Seoul, where she majored in music and voice. Most recently, Hong enjoyed singing with the church choir where she could share her musical talent as a way to express her faith.
A truly devoted mother and wife, Hong took great pride in caring for her family and friends. She was a member of The Progressive Club, P.E.O. Chapter DL, Ewha Alumni Association, Las Vegas Korean Choral Group, and a past member of Monday Talks and the Licking County Medical Auxiliary.
Hong is survived by her husband of 44 years, Dr. Chang Sup Lee, of the home; her daughter and son-in-law, Drs. Grace and Jonathan Vitsky of St. Louis, Missouri; her son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Daniel and Gwynne Lee of Las Vegas, Nevada; her grandchildren, Kipp Alexander Lee Vitsky and Sara Lovelyn Lee Vitsky; her brothers, Hong Ku Choi of Seoul, Korea and Hong Kuk Choi of Los Angeles, California; her sister Hong Kyung Elizabeth Ahmed, Esq., and brother-in-law Shamim Ahmed, Esq., of Oyster Bay Cove, New York; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Hong was preceded in death by her eldest brother, Hong Shik Choi.
